Elizabeth, a story on Oma
I moved into Oma Elizabeth’s house this past year, after she passed.
The house is so classic and beautiful and feels like such an extension of her that even though we changed a lot and made it our own, I still feel her everywhere; in the kitchen, the garden, the living room. In her little ornaments, the floors, the smoke-stained doors. She’s still here.
My grandmother loved history, books, nature, wine, art, flowers, my mom, my aunt and above all, her Belinda cigarettes.
I’ve had many shoots here and this was the first one. And although I call it Girl House now, it still very much is Elizabeth’s house.
