WHO STOLE THE FUNK?
This print is very dear to me. It started about 3 years ago in Aoteroa when I had an idea for a photo series. Over time, the photo has turned into drawings, then into lino prints, and eventually into woodcuts.
And WSTF is nowhere near done - you’ll be seeing these boobies for many more years to come.
Because over the years the image started becoming more like a symbol to me. One of empowerment, freedom, and staying true to your funk.
Playfully serious.
I’m excited to show you the next developments of WSTF, but for now I wanted to show a glimpse of the process behind the print.
