The second shoot didn’t happen because I trained harder.
It happened because I trained smarter.

I’ve gained 4kg since November !!!!
In a time where being smaller is constantly being pushed on us, I decided I’d intentionally do the opposite this year
I’ve been eating more, training better, and in turn, that has given me more energy and has made my sessions feel good
Full transparency, it definitely hasn’t been an easy process. There are days where it feels uncomfortable as I am obviously not feeling as “lean” as I’m used to in clothes etc
But then I remind myself of my WHY, and I think about how I train now and how much better I’m recovering and feeling day to day. I am learning to trust the process of what I’m trying to achieve, which is building more muscle on my body, and I know the only way to do that is to eat more and actually fuel myself properly
I used to think I just needed to push harder, train more, do more and be more disciplined
But my body wasn’t responding the way I wanted leading me to always feeling a bit run down
Learning how to actually regulate my nervous system has been so crucial for me
It’s meant better recovery, better training, better results, without constantly feeling exhausted
