Where to begin? I’ve been on the planet for a while and have had the good fortune to be a part of a lot of incredible “groups.” Improv groups. Sketch groups. Casts of all kinds. Professional groups in my tech career. You name it.
But I’m confident I’ve never had the kind of group experience I just wrapped playing Dewey Finn in School of Rock at @stageworksnj237 .
Every member of this cast floored me nightly, especially all of the mind-blowing talent on display amongst our youth performers.
I’m so grateful to have had this experience with these human gems. Big shout out to our incredible director, @emilysteen16 , and her partner in crime @cvehmas111 , for having me and endless thanks to all of our incredible band members and crew. Thank you for rocking with me. Can’t wait to do it again.

Time to gush and have it last in the feed. I’m endlessly proud of @izzyfoolingyou and the rest of the incredibly talented cast of School of Rock at @stageworksnj237 🎸 The show is a blast and not only is he a star onstage, but he simultaneously managed to pull off a record Q4 at work while continuing to show up daily for Benny and I. I’m selfishly excited to have you home more often after next week yet part of me wants your run as Dewey to go on forever🤘🏻I can’t believe it took 19 years for me to meet musical theater Alex, outside of Broadway singalongs in the car. I love you.
Went to see Frozen Kids last night at our local theater. I cried the entire time and didn’t even have a child performing on stage. Benny was entranced.
