Hard to believe it’s been a whole year since we built the Tantive IV corridor from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story! Thought I’d share a behind-the-scenes at how it all came together…
Starting with a white card maquette, to digitally modeling the corridor in Rhino, to full-scale technical drawings… finally, the construction began.
The build involved vac forming, laser cutting, routing, 3D printing, moulding, casting, resin curing, technical lighting, and of course the painting and finishing (a lot harder than it looked😅).
Brought to life by 12 NFTS model makers + the guidance of our incredible HOD @jlee.rockyroad 🙏

One of the first things I made on the @nftsmodelmaking course, this is my miniature model of a rather weathered door I chose in Beaconsfield.
Created over 5 days of pain and perseverance 😅…built using wooden lathes, chemiwood, Milliput, vacuum forming, laser cutting, priming and painting.
