Immigration shapes you into a different person. It's been almost five years since I don't feel like I belong anywhere in particular. In the past year, I called 38 different houses/air bnbs/hotels "home" only to realize that when you're constantly moving around, home becomes nowhere at the same time it can be everywhere. I don't feel like I'm part of any place, but I feel good about the fact that every place I've visited is part of me now π
