An update as I’ve been off socials. Gutted to say that my first proper injury has come in the form of back fractures. The past few weeks have been some of the toughest physical and mental battles I’ve faced, but I’ve already pushed through some of the hardest parts. I’m far from where I want to be, but every small step brings me closer to my return.
On a positive, I’ve started rehab and I’m taking it day by day. I know this will be the biggest lesson of my career yet, without a doubt.
My dad always says that football is a rollercoaster of ups and downs. For me, life without it is dull. But if there’s one thing, it’s reminded me what a privilege it is to live my dream every day. Thanks for all the love, it means a lot. I’ll be back stronger than ever, ready for the highs of the rollercoaster.
