Is it too late for a 2025 recap 🫣 Here’s my year in mostly chronological order ~ weird time but also very beautiful moments! put out an album for the very first time, made some wonderful friends in LA (& beyond), got some gains, cut some losses, saw the homies get married, saw crazy Croatian waterfalls (my favorite one was called the Veliki Slap, band name?), toured with some bands I love (first national headline tour with @sewingclubband went off) and learned many valuable lessons. grateful for all of the transformation & growth that 2025 brought 🖤except losing my health insurance smh

The chokecherry album comes out in two days 🥲 we recorded half of the album with our friend Chris in the place where we met. So many of the songs were deeply inspired by SF, its people and all of the experiences we’ve had here that have shaped us. (even the BART outro in “secrets” is a field recording that I captured on the way to one of our many many sessions). Ps thank you to the homies for letting me crash on your couches while we made this thing — you know who you are!! Scar & Chris, I’m so proud of you both and feel so lucky to have created these 5 songs with you guys. It’s been so incredible to watch you two grow as artists & humans in the time we’ve known each other (since the very first chokecherry songs were ever recorded - right here in the magic dungeon!) Chris thank you for letting us constantly stim and be insane, and also for believing in us since the jump - you are truly our brother for life.
