My friend @blateone and I were asked to update a mural on a baseball dugout at not only the high school which we both attended but the baseball league we played in as children. Seeing as how I got in some hot water for painting the one of their dugouts, along with a rival high schools dugout as a teenager, this was an opportunity on which I didn’t want to pass on. There was an existing mural done by a lady whom they wanted to honor as she has passed so we built upon her idea which was a baseball breaking through the wall. They also asked that we add their VDO logo on one side and their crest logo on the other side. The VDO was pretty straightforward, although I did add a drop shadow and a couple of shines to spice it up. The crest logo was a bit challenging as it was highly detailed and required an entirely different approach. But we got it done just in time for opening day! It was definitely an honor to be able to leave something that will hopefully be around for a while and we hope the kids will appreciate! #valleydeoro #valleydeorolittleleague #montevista #springvalleyca #mural
