Our new website is now live!
Together with the launch, we’re releasing three new books - now available online. Over the coming days, we’ll introduce each title in more detail.
"God’s Children" by Daria Izworska @izworks .
"My parents were followers of the Church when I was born; my father was a pastor and most of my family had been converted. We left the Church when I was twelve. This work is my return to the experience of growing up in a radical religious community and its lasting impact. Working with family archives, staged reenactments and photographed artefacts, I unveil the structures of indoctrination, revealing the layers of psychological conditioning. Unfolding over time, the project documents my negotiation of personal agency in relation to the relentless presence of the All-Seeing."
Now available at: stpublishing.cc
The photobook God’s Children examines the lasting impact of growing up within a radical religious community. Is the result of a long process and fully came into being at @itfopava under the guidance of @janbrykczynski . It is now being published by @rustpublishing , after years of work and late night conversations.
This has been a huge journey, and it would not have happened without the support and encouragement of so many people dear to me.

God's Children
Raised among tongues of fire, into the Great Battle I was born. Tales of the Harlot rang in my ear, and thoughts of the seven-headed beast put me to sleep. I was in this world, but not of this world. Set and ready, for any day a great ball of fire would devour the Earth, and I, along with all God’s Children, would be taken to the Kingdom of Heaven, where the wolf shall live with the lamb.
My parents were followers of the Church when I was born; my father was a pastor and most of my family had been converted. My parents and I left the Church when I was twelve. The project is a personal exploration of experiences of growing up within a radical religious community. Working with family archives, staged re-enactments, and photographed artifacts, I revisit structures of fear, devotion and indoctrination, revealing the weight of psychological conditioning. Unfolding over time, the work documents my shifting negotiation of personal agency in relation to the relentless presence of the All-Seeing.
I remember the Blood and Flesh standing on a table, covered with a white tablecloth. A matzah baked by my mum symbolized the Body, and red grape juice symbolized the Blood waiting for the pastor to give each baptized follower to eat and drink from it. I never could, still too young to be baptized.
