As we prep for launch, I thought it would be important to share a brief (& vulnerable 🥲) backstory:
After ending a long-term relationship with the person I believed to be the love of my life, it felt as if my world was ending. All my plans and joys for the future vanished. Like many of you may have experienced before, I felt broken. Heart-shattering pain. I was so lonely amongst the chaos in my mind.
After some time, I decided to lift myself up and find a way to help heal this little heart of mine. Of course, I leaned into my creative mind. I needed a place to pour my love, a little comfort. So, I decided to recreate the rings I had to return alongside the ones that stayed. As I began this process, I began to fall in love again, not with a person, but a passion. Designing jewelry felt like home. With that, Sula was born.

@impossiblecurrency is pleased to present BLUE BLUE BLUE BLUE BLUE, a group exhibition opening Thursday, July 24th from 6:30–8:30 pm.
BLUE BLUE BLUE BLUE BLUE brings together a collective of artists whose work reflects on the emotional and symbolic weight of the color blue. Through painting, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media, the exhibition considers blue as both a color and a concept — at once expansive and intimate, grounded and infinite.
This show explores the complexity blue carries across cultures and inner lives. Just as blue shifts in tone and depth, the works in this exhibition unfold across a spectrum of emotional dimensions, offering viewers a space to reflect, slow down, and connect.
In a time when the world often asks us to move quickly past what we feel, BLUE BLUE BLUE BLUE BLUE asks the opposite. It invites us to stay present, to notice the nuance, and to sit inside the many shades of what we hold.
