Drum & bass vocalist/artist @brodie.jungle has shared a public statement describing allegations of sexual harassment and sexual assault involving artist emba_uk during a November 2025 tour connected to Hybrid Minds.
According to the statement, the situation was reportedly addressed internally at the time. Brodie said she decided to speak publicly after seeing Emba announced for Hybrid Minds’ upcoming Atmosphere event.
@hybridmindsdnb have since confirmed Emba will no longer appear at the event or future shows associated with the duo.

A new study from the London School of Economics, in collaboration with @alphathetaglobal , found that dancing to electronic music may help lower stress while pushing the body into a vigorous exercise zone.
Researchers saw heart rate variability increase by 18.5% during calmer moments, while participants reached around 75% of max heart rate during dance segments.
So yes… that festival set might actually count as cardio.

The festival was scheduled for May 21–24 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois, but organizers say unforeseen financial circumstances involving a third-party service provider, contract complications, and other factors made it impossible to safely and responsibly produce the event.
Ticket holders are being told to refer to their point of purchase for the latest refund or credit information. Organizers also said they are working with relevant parties to provide additional guidance as soon as possible.

@musicon_festival 2026 has been cancelled just hours before doors were set to open.
The Amsterdam event, scheduled for May 9–10 at Meerpark Amsterdam, will no longer take place after the Municipality of Amsterdam revoked the festival’s permit the morning of the event.
Organizers said they received no prior warning and were left with no choice but to cancel, calling the news “devastating.” Ticket holders are being urged not to travel to the festival grounds, as entry will not be permitted.
