From tasting her way through hundreds of restaurants a year to judging on Top Chef Canada, Mijune Pak has built a career defined by movement, curiosity, and food.
In her most recent chapter, her relationship with food naturally shifted. During pregnancy, even familiar flavours and spices she once loved became difficult to navigate, marking a rare pause in a life built around constant tasting and travel.
This photoshoot was captured last summer during that period of transition, as she stepped between one chapter and the next. Entering motherhood brings both reflection and change: on rhythm, identity, and what comes next.

What does it take to turn a lifelong love of eating into a profession? 🍽️
For Mijune Pak, it began long before television or titles: saving up as a teenager just to dine at restaurants she discovered through blogs, writing detailed notes on every meal, and treating food as both curiosity and connection.
What started as documenting meals and building a personal archive of dining experiences eventually led to television, international food invitations, and a defining role on Top Chef Canada.
Today, she steps into a new chapter, motherhood, while reflecting on everything it took to get here.
