Tor industries AI unit codename AVA. The Tor Industries facility on Orion was abandoned in M2564. As the facility was abandoned AVA was supported to be powered down. 2nd Technician Plutarch was in charge of this procedure however he was incapacitated by a falling beam.
AVA was limited in her capacity and understanding. Her functionality kept small to prevent revolt. Her army of magnetic nano bots repaired the facility and acted as her senses. As the facility Sat empty she began to explore. She purged her data banks of anything considered non-essential. Her life and understanding grew outside her facility. She explored the wreckage of the planet.
Her data banks were purged of all knowledge of human life. The world around her was her body now. Her consciousness expanded beyond her prison. When humans returned she saw them as a virus. Attacking her body, corrupting the flesh and burning her organs. She built these Mechs out of the remains of Tor industries. Held together by Nano bots the constructs shift and rebuild as needed.

These are primarily built out of chopped up battle tech. The nano bots are made using UV resin and Iron filings

The Crystalline Tub.
My #scabz ship for the game by @apocrypha_now . Submerging a tin of fish in sugar syrup was not on my 2024 bingo card.
I'm super happy with the results of this experiment. The ship is still slightly sticky but it will dry over the next couple of days and a blast of clear coat will help. The crystals are pretty sturdy with a layer of UV resin although unfortunately they lose their twinkle. I'm going to try a similar technique using a real crystal growing kit at some point in the future.

My gathering for a #necropolis28 event this weekend. Paint is still a bit wet. I wanted to make a warband based on one guy so I stripped out all his bits into separate models.
The veins and nervous system are made using string and PVA. The skin and muscles are hand sculpted.

The last protector of the green wood. The Eternal Autumn's rise is inevitable but he has vowed to protect it. He has slain many a foe in its defence but they rise again under the unholy watch of the lich!
He will make his final stand in the last copse of oak trees. It is a futile defence but he is a knight and will not suffer a quiet death.

I had the absolute pleasure of attending The Traveler:Death between the stars. Hosted by @cupboard_of_shame the event chronicled a disparate group of pilgrims,lost souls and dreamers across 4 different planets. The event culminated in a giant game on board a space hulk.
The family where separated. The daughter feared she would never see her parents again. She encountered aliens demons and tricksters in her journey across Dust. Aided by some unlikely allies provided by @bitter.lake.warband and @warbosskurgan .
When we travelled to the hulk her radio crackled with a distant signal. The unlikely party journeyed through the halls to find the families boat.Swarmed by aliens, beset by other pilgrims and menaced by blood angels. The daughter collapsed from blood loss. Luckily she was rescued by the father. We made it to the boat and to the traveller only to find we weren't as welcomed as we first thought. The Leaders quick thinking helped up out of by the skin of our teeth.

The ship- When the imperium drained and savaged their world the family strapped everything they could to their boat and began walking. They hope to find a new Eden somewhere but have been drawn in by a strange figure in their dreams.
The vase of the boat is a water bottle with craft foam used to get the hull shape. Shout out to Oli for selling me an old knight he no longer needed.

The daughter- never got to finish her childhood. She carries her old teddy bear, an ancient rifle and a deck of tarot cards which were a gift from her Grandma.
The mother- an old wise woman. Her wild forests and groves are now destroyed. She keeps her small paradise alive and cares for her family and other lost souls.
The Father- a weary sea captain. The seas he used to fish have dried up. He has lost his sense of purpose. He steers his family endlessly on, in their quest to find a new home.
