Live music. It’s different from most art forms. It’s not like the lines of a poem that you can read out of order. It’s not like a painting that you can take in all at once. Live music is bound by time—a start and a finish. A spring of experience flowing into an ocean of meaning. It condenses around you just as soon as it dries up and ceases to occupy a space. It’s temporary, like people. Maybe that’s why it’s my favorite art form.
I’ve got some shows coming up over the next two months and I can’t wait to see some of you there. Grateful for the continual support from everyone—let’s make some ART.
