today is the day that so many believers celebrate the MIRACLE of the resurrection of Jesus 🥹
I’ve been deep in thought about how that is relevant to me today.
I realize i’m posting these beautiful family photos and we look pretty perfect 🤭
But ironically, this week i’ve been struggling with my mental health more than ever.
Suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety as hell, for some reason postpartum seasons for me tend to arise these old battles I thought I had permanently put behind me.
When Jesus gave up His soul on the cross, He permanently left the Holy Spirit on the earth to dwell with us. This means the FULLNESS of God is ALWAYS fully here with us in every single second of every single day. And not only that, but if we want, we can COMMUNE WITH HIM!!! AT ANY TIME, ANYWHERE, ANY WAY. I talk to the Holy Spirit every SECOND some days when i’m struggling, and HE!!! RESPONDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS! IS WHY! IM SO GRATEFUL FOR TODAY.
We GET to celebrate Jesus resurrection!!!!!!!! He is an ever present help in times of trouble. He is healing me from every mental and spiritual battle I currently face. He is with me presently when i’m struggling. That wasn’t always the case before Jesus came and did what He did.
I would not be alive today if it weren’t for Jesus constantly renewing my mind, healing my trauma, restoring me inside and out.
So all I have today is endless love and unending gratitude for my sweet, dear Lord and my genuine Savior Jesus.
Jesus thank you for dying for me, for sending the Holy Spirit in your place so I could know you so deeply in my short time here on earth.
I love you Lord. Thank you for saving my life.
