Throwback to an archive project 📂 — the visual identity for Lucyna Festival: Half Year’s Eve 🌞🌙
Every year on June 30th, we celebrate Lucyna’s name day with a symbolic fest halfway through the year.
The key symbol - a smiling face made from the sun + the moon is a simple mark that captures the spirit of our night-and-day celebration, consciousness & subconsciousness.
The whole ID carried a faded vintage-postcard vibe, with DJ visuals nodding to the tradition of monidło - a kitschy hand-painted portrait. QR-code fragments, SMPTE patterns, and coordinates instead of words hinted at hidden meanings, calibration, and place.
