後記 | 下半場 ft. 微光合唱團 (English below) 這大概是我到目前為止，不論身為音樂家、製作人，或是主辦者，做過最大的一次冒險。 帶著這樣的自覺回頭看—— 我很慶幸也很驕傲把它做出來了🎊 Ivan Liuzzo 這次的新作《風聲－歌聲》，為雙電吉他與男聲合唱而寫，我有緣和深耕家鄉台中的微光合唱團九位男聲共同演出。 謝謝微光合唱團的信任、投入，也謝謝你們為了這次首演所付出的所有努力。 十個人，十全十美，在中文的思維裡，是一個完整而美好的數字。 三十分鐘，在與彼此的振動和空間的回應之間不斷尋找平衡 時間感消失，自我邊界也模糊了起來。好難用文字說清楚，在“裡面”的感覺是什麼？很快會和大家分享影片 - It was the biggest risk I’ve ever taken — as a musician, a producer, and an organiser. But with that awareness, I can now say how glad and how proud I am that I did it. A new piece by Ivan Liuzzo, “Vento–Canto”, written for two electric guitars and male choir, featuring nine singers from the Halo Choir, based in my home city, Taichung. Thank you to Halo Choir for your trust, your commitment, and especially the hard work you put into this Premiere. Ten people — in Chinese thinking, that’s a beautiful sense of wholeness. Thirty minutes searching for balance — between each other's beatings and the response of the space. Timeless. Egoless. It’s hard to describe in words how it feels "inside". Yet, they share a deeper connection: both arise from a series of reflections rooted in my musical practice—elements of musical thought that forge stronger links than any superficial aesthetic resemblance. In these works, composition unfolds as an inquiry into the identity of instrumental sound, the nature of perception, and a challenge to the notion of musical phenomena, which are often taken as given rather than questioned as open-ended processes. In my practice, sound sources tend to merge, reaching a point where they become difficult to distinguish. […]Through extreme dynamics, the very nature of acoustic phenomena is called into question: what, at the threshold of hallucination, is perceived? The individual perception of space and time is put into crisis. An almost inaudible dynamic reshapes not only the relationship with the concert space—the hall—but also with everything that happens around it. Thus, the exploration of space should be understood as a relationship between intensity, timbral quality, and duration. I’m very proud to have performed TIKUR for cello, environment, and projected text, composed by @ivan.liuzzo . The piece explores identity, ancestral memory, and site-specific sound. I felt a deep connection with Ivan on these themes and truly enjoyed playing this immersive, listening-focused work surrounded by the sounds outside of nyMusikk. There was a kind of magic in how the environment responded — children singing in the street, a car door slamming, a group of old friends chatting — all perfectly syncing with the music. I was able to interact with these beautiful, spontaneous sounds and share that energy with an amazing audience. Thank you to @lauramadaliso for the invitation.
