Coming Fall 2027: Luddy is launching an exciting new degree—the incoming B.S. in Robotics!
The Robotics B.S. will be a cross-departmental program incorporating curriculum and expertise from Luddy's Computer Science, Informatics, and Intelligent Systems Engineering departments.
Students who graduate from this program will be ready to pursue high-demand careers in industry, from automation, aerospace, manufacturing, healthcare, and beyond, or pursue an academic path centered on robotics research and innovation.

Senior Spotlight: Noah Bakken 🎓
Noah graduated this spring with a major in Informatics and a cognate and minor in business. During his time at IU, Noah was selected as one of seven students in the prestigious Shoemaker Scholar program focused on entrepreneurship and technology innovation, served as Co-President of the Product Management Club, and previously served as Tech Director for the Luddy Consulting Association.
Through internships across the U.S. and abroad, Noah gained experience as a Product Manager at Publicis Sapient in Chicago, a Product and UX Tester at Magnettu in Barcelona, Spain, and an IT Operations Analyst at ISlide, Inc. in Boston.
After graduation, Noah is exploring multiple full-time opportunities and plans to finalize his next step later this summer after traveling, decompressing, and spending time with friends and family. 🎉
Senior Spotlight: San Mi Mi Thant 🎓
San Mi Mi graduated this spring with a major in Informatics with a cognate in business, while also double majoring in Information Systems at the Kelley School of Business and minoring in Web Design and Development. Throughout her time at IU, she served as President of the Myanmar Student Association and President of TEDxIndiana University. As a Wells Scholar and recipient of the Kate Hevener Mueller Award, San Mi Mi has consistently led with excellence, determination, and care in every community she’s been a part of.
After graduation, San Mi Mi will be moving to Chicago to join Deloitte as a Technology Enablement and Transformation Analyst. 🎉
Senior Spotlight: Calvin Josenhans 🎓
Calvin graduated this spring with a double major in computer science and mathematics, a minor in Spanish, and a specialization in programming languages. Throughout his time at IU, Calvin served as a Luddy Student Ambassador, a Luddy LLC Peer Mentor and tutor, was an Undergraduate Instructor for the computer science department, and was a member of the Chess Club and the Indiana Daily Student newspaper.
After graduation, Calvin will be moving to Madison, Wisconsin to join Epic Systems as a Software Developer. 🎉
What happens when music, AI, and visual storytelling come together?
Sisters Kaitlin and Nikki Pet are exploring exactly that through their startup, PetsAloud: a platform creating interactive concert experiences that respond to live performance in real time.
Blending their backgrounds in music and computer science through the @iuluddy and @iujsom communities, the sisters are building something that feels entirely new. Supported through the @iuinnovates incubator program, their work offers a glimpse into how technology can expand creative expression rather than replace it.

Senior Spotlight: Leah Houston 🎓
Leah graduated this spring with a B.S. in Intelligent Systems Engineering and a specialization in computer engineering. Through her involvement in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), the Group Scholars program, the Hudson and Holland Scholars program, and her role as President of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) at IU, Leah has become a strong and inspiring leader, uplifting others while making a lasting impact on campus.
After graduation, Leah will be moving to Chicago to join Northrop Grumman as an Associate Systems Engineer. 🎉

Senior Spotlight: Addison Owens 🎓
Addie is a senior graduating with a B.S. in Computer Science, a specialization in programming languages, and a minor in technical theater. You might have ran into Addie these past four years as an O-Team leader, Luddy LLC Peer Mentor, and the President of Luddy Student Government!
After graduation, Addie will be moving to Indianapolis as an Orr Fellow kicking off her professional journey at Selerix working on systems integration. 🎉

Celebrating 8 years of Amatria ✨
Since its creation in 2018 by Canadian artist and architect Philip Beesley, Amatria has stood as a luminous, forest-inspired landscape—alive with 3D-printed forms and artificial intelligence.
This year’s celebration brought exciting news for its future. Leslie Kaiser of the IU Foundation announced plans to fund an endowment to ensure Amatria is maintained in perpetuity.
