This first image captures what might become a core memory. How do I know? I don’t. But something about that moment tells me it will stay with me forever. And nothing extraordinary even happened. Yet it had all the right ingredients to turn into something unforgettable:
- A surprisingly beautiful sunset on a rooftop bar in Arequipa, one of my favorite cities in Peru 🌄
- Being there with @gsergiu and some other dear people who, in just two weeks, went from strangers to friends
- Closing another beautiful and successful edition of the @bodhiretreats trip to Peru 🇵🇪
- Taking a moment to reflect on how lucky I am—to be healthy, to see such views with my own eyes, to walk on two legs that carry me to all these places, and to have a kind, grateful heart that remembers when it once wished for what I now have 🤍

Two days walking the ancient paths of the Inka Trail — through misty mountains, endless stone steps, and landscapes that seemed to shift with every breath. ⛰️
It wasn’t just about the views (though they were unforgettable). It was about the effort in every step, the moments of silence, the laughter in between, and the quiet strength we found in each other when the trail got steep.
We carried more than our backpacks — we carried encouragement, shared energy, and a reminder that no one walks alone.
Because the journey was never really about reaching the destination… it was about everything that happened along the way. ✨
@gsergiu told me today in the car: “yeah, you’re right, you cannot explain to someone who hasn’t been to Peru how Peru really is and how it feels to be here.”
And he’s right.
No photo or video can truly capture the scale of these landscapes. No review can prepare you for the depth of flavor in every bite, or how food here feels like heaven.
No story can fully translate the warmth of the people, the rhythm of daily life, or the way time seems to stretch and slow down when you’re fully present.
Peru isn’t just something you see — it’s something you feel. It’s not a place you visit. It’s a place you experience.
AI doesn’t impress me that much, but leave me in a botanical garden and I’ll be in awe for hours. 😮

Iceland rewards those who give it time.
This is one of the reasons we return to it through the full Ring Road, rather than treating it as a short stop built around the usual highlights. A route like this needs time to settle in through the shifts in weather, the changing light, and the gradual way the country reveals itself.
You move through waterfalls, black sand, glacier fields, volcanic ground, coastal villages, and wide open landscapes where everything feels surreal.
These frames were filmed during our last edition, and they bring back exactly that atmosphere. The hours on the road. The pauses between major stops. The conversations that happen once the group has settled into a shared rhythm. The feeling of being in a country that keeps its intensity throughout the journey and reminds you how beautiful this planet is.

For a few days, things have been quieter here.
Behind the scenes, though, we’ve been working on two journeys that will take place this summer, refining routes, adjusting the rhythm of the days, and making sure the experience feels exactly the way it should.
One of them is a place many of you have been asking about for a long time.
Iceland.
Over the years, this has become one of the journeys people remember most vividly from our calendar, a landscape where waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches and volcanic terrain create a feeling that is hard to compare with anywhere else.
So many of you wrote to us asking when we would return.
The answer is: soon.
The itinerary is almost ready, and we’ll be announcing the dates in the coming days.
