After a recent (November) trip to Ghana, Nik and I decided it was finally time to expand our family. God granted our prayer and in short order our greatest joy was confirmed. I literally can’t hide it anymore. Ya’ll see that bump?! Every once in a while, during normal daily activities it just hits me, the thought that there are now two hearts beating inside me. Honestly it’s the most surreal feeling ever. In expectation that the next few months are as joyous and smooth as the decision that brought us here.
And if you’re in a moment of quiet expectation, irrespective of what your heart’s desire is, know this for certain: God makes all things beautiful in His time, in His season and in His good and perfect will. No good thing will miss you, because our joy is His joy and He is so good that He takes pleasure in our rejoicing.

Cheers to June! 🥂 I cannot lie, June was the most amazing month to me. So much joy and so many blessings.
We celebrated my baby sister who turned the big baby age of 20. Celebrated my dad and the grace of God over his life. Celebrated my birthday as the elevator took me to level 35 🥳!
June really showed me how blessed we are. I must thank my husband, who went above and beyond. Surprise after surprise everyday this month. I was overwhelmed and crying tears of joy consistently. Ya’ll see my ugly cry in this post 😭The man is really just everything and so much more.
My family did everything to put a smile on my face, and this smile is permanent I fear. What a blessing to belong to these folks.

I tried to get tickets for the #infinitymirrorroom for days, and everything was sold out. But we decided that we had to check out the @TheBroadMuseum either way so we packed up and drove to LA. Literally not long after arriving, I went online, just to try my luck again and BOOM, two tickets available for the time we’d be in the museum. Truly, all things, no matter how big or how small, work together for our good.
