It's time to meet some performers for Lawrence PRIDE, starting with your two hosts!! ✨In our first set of the day, we have Deja Brooks! ✨ Deja Brooks is a vibrant performer, community leader, and proud advocate for inclusion, creativity, and joy in Lawrence. A former Miss Gay Kansas 2020 and recipient of the 2025 Phoenix Award for service, creativity, and dedication to the arts, Deja brings people together through the power of performance, celebration, and unapologetic authenticity. - ✨In our second set of the day, we have Vantas! ✨ Make room, she’s stomping down the stage once again! Vantas (she/he) is a trans performer who brings scathing politics and a reverence for queer women to the forefront of her drag. Rave reviews of his art have included “surprisingly flexible” and “what gender is that?” In addition to performing, Vantas is also an amateur powerlifter and strongman, but you probably already knew that; he never stops talking about it. Flexing for people is his favorite pastime. Vantas is unbelievably ecstatic to host Lawrence Pride’s late show this year! She hopes that you leave Pride thinking about how you can step up and hold the line when your neighbors need you the most.

We're continuing the fun for PRIDE month with a special edition of Drag Bingo with @carma.lea ! Come out and play some bingo, meet some new friends, win some prizes, and get treated to special performances by @itsvantas and @ms.edabull .
