“More of the Same (feat. Heather Woods Broderick)” is finally out!
What started as a revision of an old demo track while I was in Japan turned into this giant ballad filled with some of the most fun, yet challenging string arrangements I’ve ever done. This track feels like a real turning point for me musically and I’m loving every minute of it.
Huuuuuge shoutout to one of my best friends on the west coast @heatherwoodsbroderick for contributing her gorgeous vocals and arrangements. It really brings such a magic to the track…can’t wait to see what else we make in the future ;)

Warped bridges, chipped corners, & worn varnish. I’ve had some of these instruments for over a decade, and it’s pretty noticeable if you look close enough. As time goes by it’s easy to take the kind of beauty that can be brought out of them for granted. After being in a bit of a creative rut, recording my latest track reminded me of that beauty. “More of the Same (feat. Heather Woods Broderick)” is out now.

I was not prepared for the level of positive reception this track would get. With barely any promotion or playing the playlist game“More of the Same” passed over 1000 plays in less than 24 hours…fast forward a couple days and the number is quickly growing. I realize that number isn’t a lot for most people but it really does mean a lot to me. I’ve literally never gotten this level of genuine love for a song straight out of the gate.
