In an industry and world where it’s so easy to doubt your genius, sometimes a gentle reminder that the work you do is impactful, inspiring, and uplifting is all you need to remind yourself of who you are. So thank you, @essence for this gentle nudge.
The work I do is centered around my community, my love for shining a light on the folks that inspire me, and helping to build brands I believe in.
I hope my niece and nephew see this one day and realize that their path to “success” may not be linear, but it’s worth the ride. I hope they dream big and never let anyone tell them they can’t do something—because who would I be if I had listened to all the no’s along the way?
