A mugshot of Goldie Williams. Arrested in Omaha, Nebraska, on January 29, 1898, for vagrancy, Goldie defiantly crossed her arms for her mugshot. According to her arrest descriptions, her left index finger was broken; she listed her home as Chicago and her occupation as a prostitute. Police records state that Goldie Williams only stood 5 feet tall and weighed 110 pounds.

Holly modeling jewelry in London. Photograph by Raphael Albert (1970s). Three years ago today, I started posting history content on TikTok, and this photo inspired me to do so. The image is captivating, and photographer Raphael Albert did an amazing job capturing Holly’s beauty. When I started posting history content, I wanted to show the beauty of people from the past. Seeing photos that I’ve never seen before is truly amazing. I always find it interesting to come across footage or photos that I’m seeing for the first time. I am very grateful to be able to share those moments with you all. Thank you for the love and support. I love all of you ❤️
