Krump is a powerful and expressive street dance style that originated in South central, Los Angeles in the early 2000s. It is characterized by explosive movements, raw emotion, and intense energy. In 2005 the documentary film Rize helped bring the dance style to a wider audience and is now practiced in more than 120 countries. Today, it continues to influence dancers worldwide, blending art, emotion, and empowerment into a unique and impactful dance form.
