One year since my first song “Holy God” was released (!!!) + this week at the beach🤍
What an absolute wild journey and crazy year creating music. All I can say is- imposter syndrome is real and if you only knew the amount of times in the last year I’ve thought to myself - “I can’t do this,” or “I’m not good enough,” you probably would not believe me :D
Social media is a highlight reel and vulnerability is so scarce. I love music because it allows such a beautiful space for vulnerability AND light, joy, good vibes, and for the best message ever to be shared- the Gospel.
What an absolute gift and privilege to steward.
So yes, I will continue to get imposter syndrome, doubt, and think I’m not smart enough or talented enough, but the important thing is that I create- even when I’m afraid. Because at the end of the day, I do not create to glorify myself, but to glorify the Lord. He is with me wherever I go and it’s not my own strength and courage I rely on, but His. Keep singing His praises!!!!

2025 was full of reminders of His grace and mercy. What a privilege it is to serve and worship God. So joyfully expectant for 2026!! “Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness! I say, “The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in him.””

I had sooo much fun writing this one. Thank you to the incredible @emma.the.dilemmaa for bringing it to life with me, and @dawson_shorman for being a mixing and mastering genius. Super fun to see how the Lord can use our creativity and talents- along with our obedience to Him- to bring Him the utmost glory. Truly what it’s all about!!!
