DAY 2 - HOSTING ON STAGE AT TEAM GB HOUSE, WE CALLING IT THE HOME AWAY FROM HOME!! The place to be celebrating with family, friends and fans of Team GB!! and of course me.
Iāve had the pleasure of chatting with heroes and legends sharing their stories and insights on life as an Olympian, and itās safe to say we are very similar regardless what sport. š

Giving birth in Dubai was an experience Iāll never forget. š«
From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by the most caring staff ā Black, Nigerian women who looked like me, spoke to me with such gentleness, and made me feel completely at ease. Thereās something powerful about being cared for by people who see you. š¤
Back in the UK, you give birth and go home the same day ā which is fine ā but here, youāre encouraged to rest. Two days of being looked after, supported, and allowed to just be. It made such a difference.
I always say Iām done having babies š but this experience⦠it honestly softened me. If anyoneās ever considering giving birth in Dubai, I couldnāt recommend it enough. It was healing, empowering, and beautiful. šø
Being a mum can make you forget youāre a person too sometimes.
So lately, Iāve been doing little things that pour back into me.
Solo runs. Coffee dates with myself. Beach mornings. Facials. Lunches with friends. Quiet moments and funny enough spending time with the children separately.
Because mums deserve to feel full too.
Not just needed. š¤
Take the alone time.
Refill your cup.
Strong mums donāt wait to feel ready.
They show up tired.
They show up busy.
They show up anyway šŖ
Thatās what builds strength ā not perfect routines, just consistency.
Mamas in Motion energy every single week š¤

Little life update āļøš¤
Quick trip back to the UK š¬š§ ā filled my cup with family, friends, and all the love. Also⦠Caesarās first flight š„¹ and he absolutely smashed it (proud mum moment).
Back in Dubai and straight back into routine like we never left. Iām actually loving how calm it feels here right now⦠a little quieter, a little slower.
Got asked a lot while I was away, āHow are things in Dubai?ā ā honestly? Life feels pretty normal. Just getting on with my days, staying in my bubble, and keeping things positive regardless of whatās being said elsewhere.
Also⦠mum life doesnāt pause š homeschooling in full swing as youāll see š
Grateful for the balance of it all right now š¤
Back in London for a hot minute š¬š§
Best part? Pulling off the ultimate surprise on my mum & brother (still proud of myself š)
And finally introducing Caesar to the fam⦠safe to say heās the new favourite
Back in London and this one felt special ā¤ļø
I had the chance to do some ambassador work with the @theoutrunners at their festival ā and honestly, itās something I wish I had growing up. A space full of young girls (11ā16), showing up, trying new things, and just being seen⦠it meant a lot to be part of that.
I joined a Q&A alongside @mabel_akande and shared a bit of my journey ā the highs, the challenges, and everything in between. If even one girl walked away thinking āI can do it too,ā then thatās everything to me.
Where you come from shapes you, yes⦠but it doesnāt limit you. Iām proud of my story because itās a big part of who Iāve become ā and I hope they felt that.
From crocheting workshops to running and yoga, the energy was just beautiful. These girls are powerful, whether they know it yet or not āØ
Hereās to pouring into the next generation⦠because theyāre already becoming.

Worried about racial targeting for my sons in the UK, we chose homeschooling to nurture their interests. Now in Dubai, we're embracing new experiences & learning, realizing schools don't always have capacity for essential life skills. #Homeschooling #DubaiLife #Parenting #MulticulturalEducation #LearningExperiences #TravelWithKids #GlobalCitizen #EducationIsKey
Episode 1 of The Goodmother Series is officially live and releasing it on Motherās Day makes this moment even more special!
This series was created to honour the real experience of motherhood. The identity shifts, the quiet sacrifices, the reinvention and the strength that often goes unseen. There is no better day to begin this conversation.
In this debut episode, I sit down with Perri Shakes-Drayton, British retired Olympian and elite track and field athlete, for an honest conversation about life beyond the podium and what it means to transition from elite sport into motherhood.
We talk about ambition, pregnancy and postpartum, the pressure to bounce back and how her definition of success has evolved far beyond medals and titles.
If you have ever struggled with balancing ambition and motherhood or questioned what success looks like after children, this episode will meet you where you are.

A week ago my mum and cousin were here in Dubai, and Iām only just finding the time to post these memories.
Looking back through the photos has me smiling all over again. The laughs, the late-night chats, the constant āare you not hungry?ā conversations⦠and of course the usual family chaos that somehow makes everything better.
For those who followed me for some time, youāll know how close I am with my family. They are truly my village. Moving to Dubai meant leaving that village behind, which isnāt always easy. But one thing Iāve learned is that when you move somewhere new, you slowly start to build another village around you and I think Iāve done a pretty decent job of that too.
Still, thereās nothing quite like having your people here. The ones whoāve known you forever, who remind you where you came from, and who make anywhere feel like home.
A week later and Iām still smiling about it (and still recovering from how much food I managed to eat š).
Family really is everything ā¤ļø and the last slide š„²
I always say that @itspsd is my personal trainer and personal tormentor š every session is intense but itās the best thing Iāve ever committed too AND the best personal trainer Iāve worked with HANDS DOWN!
2025 was the hardest year I had ever faced and I wanted to make 2026 different.. starting with my fitness & health.
Something life has taught me is this..HAVE STANDARDS.
If Iām on a mission to be a world class speaker, the standards of my life have to reflect that.
A world class trainer.
world class discipline
world class diet..
Leads to world class results.
This weekend, I fly into @warwickafricasummit and then in April, we head to Uganda & USA for the second leg of the book tour šššš
