Omar Walid is a Cairo-based Assistant Producer and Photographer whose journey began by taking photos of rap artists and the subculture around it. As his work expanded, he found himself involved in artist management and music video production with M-Town Records, contributing to projects with talents like Husayn, Wingii, and Tommyy while also shooting multiple artworks that showcase his visual style.
He joined the Butter Films SYNC workshop last year, where he earned his place within the team. Working with Butter Films became a turning point, giving him consistent set experience and the chance to learn up close from the industry figures he grew up admiring. With a camera of any medium always on him, he documents behind-the-scenes frames that earned him recognition, with features in Rolling Stone, GQ, HYPEBEAST along with other local platforms.
He has also worked with major names such as Mohamed Ramadan, Ahmed Saad, Amir Eid and many more. Omar continues to work across TV commercials, music videos, and live shows expanding his experience across sets, and aiming to make real impact in the near future.
