Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, Make Music is celebrated on the same day in more than 2,000 cities in dozens of countries around the world.

Behind the scenes at BARC 🐾
Brittaney and the Barrio Dogs team stepped inside the City of Houston’s open-intake shelter—where every animal gets a chance, no matter their condition or story. 
From walking the kennels to learn more about it with Raquel Juarez and Officer Hurtado, this visit opened up real conversations about the challenges, the responsibility, and the heart it takes to care for thousands of animals in our city.
