Here are some pictures I took of Amyl and the Sniffers at Miami Marketta on the weekend. I had about 500 opportunities to see these guys while I was living in Melbourne but never did because they played all the time and I figured it would happen eventually… Anyway, I finally saw them on Saturday and it was everything I was hoping for and more. This band is on a whole other level. So much energy. It was like 2 songs in before I realised my fists had been clenched at my side the whole time. It was good.

I took some pics of The Lonesomes doing the rock band thing recently. They were playing at an event where funds from the ticket sales went back to the venue. I think that’s cool, it’s real cool to support and lift each other up during this weird time. Get on the internet and go listen to their tunes. ‘Dog Days’ came out at the start of the year and it’s pretty good!

I am super grateful to have been invited to take photos of The Jezebels at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane last weekend. I really love this band, I think I listened to the Dark Storm Ep more than anything else I listened to back in 2010… what a year!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported another Riffs gig.
This one was special.
We did it for Seb, a young bloke from Lismore battling acute myeloid leukaemia, an aggressive and life-threatening cancer.
He is currently undergoing intense treatment and desperately needs a stem cell donor for a chance at survival.
