Happy Momma’s Day! Got to spend a little time with my mom it’s not anything I take for granted. These days it’s the time spent together that truly make the memories we continue to create together that etch our relationships. I’m feeling more than ever these days that it’s all about the quality time, making that the priority. I’m so eternally grateful to have grown up with Gina as my mom, my confidante, the one that really had my back! The one that just lived and set such awesome examples of just life-ing!The most supportive human with a giant unconditional loving heart. Always there for not just me but a whole community of loved ones. I am so grateful to still have my mom. If your momma is still with us give her a call, a hug, or just a simple thought of gratitude that she just brought you into this world.
Have a happy day thinking about all the bad ass moms out there!! You’re seen today and we celebrate you.

Still flying high from a week of celebration and not in a hurry to land anytime soon. My wings have been clipped. No pressing career situations. Birthday celebrations some behind some still to come!! And now only the pure freedom to follow my bliss and start making some solid plans. Lots of small stateside trips through the summer then 🤞🏼🤞🏼making plans to head to SE Asia by late fall. Until then you’ll catch me on some random hiking trail, sprawling out on a deserted beach or dining somewhere intriguing.
Birthday celebrations started off with a perfect Palm Springs dip in the pool, brunch with the loved ones, a quick drop into @brewjaelixir for a 4 year anniversary party and pre 420 celebration and ended at @mojavegolddesert with @theladychilane ‘s Cabaret show where I was entertained and surrounded by the most fabulous Drag queens!! And then they included me by celebrating my birthday with a round of happy birthday and a decadent German chocolate cake!! Plenty of laughs, tears, and lots and lots of hugs of love. I’ll hopefully get a nice reel together for you soon but had to share my special day.
What a fantastic ride!! @brewjaelixir the culmination of my life’s journey and passions all rolled up into one beautifully curated space to have truly connected a community having come out of a pandemic. The incredible way the space provides deep connections, fostered expansive new ways to approach plant medicine, and taught me so many life lessons. I loved creating you!! I love all the incredible people it brought into my life. I love trusting in just let go and allowing the next chapter to take place. Thank you to my sweet soul sister @leahestella and @revilooliver for making it effortless and exciting to pass the baton!! I know you’ll only bring more love and beauty to the community!! I cannot wait to watch you thrive!!
I’m so ready to honestly just be selfish with following my bliss!! The world is my oyster once again. Stick around if you wanna share in all the adventures to come!!

Special day today!! We got to surprise my sweet momma on her 80th birthday!! All her closest showed up, we sang her a song, we laughed a lot, and we ate cake!! Eternally grateful to have her here to celebrate!!

📚 Book Release + Signing at Juniper Arts
Join us this Saturday, March 14 from 5–8 PM for a special literary evening at Juniper Arts Gallery as part of the Second Saturday Art Walk.
We’re celebrating the release of Glimpses of the Joshua Tree Dream, Volume 2: Women of the Mojave by author Lisa Schyck.
The book features photography by Bill Brewer and essays by Zara Kand, highlighting women who have created meaningful, intentional lives in the Mojave Desert.
The evening begins with a book signing during the first hour, followed by gallery viewing, conversation, refreshments, and live music in the garden.
This Joshua Tree event is a central stop on Lisa’s national book tour, bringing the region’s creative community together with visitors from across the country.
