I started another 100 day challenge recently where I create a collage everyday. Here’s the first batch of 20. I’m really loving the experimentation happening in these. Message me if you want one of these hanging on your wall or if you want me to make one for an upcoming release or poster. ✌️

My birthday queen! You’re the only person I know who hypes their birthday for 363 days. I can’t wait for the adventures to come. Love ya to the moon. 💚

New obsession unlocked. I took a risograph class tonight @heavymannerslibrary and fell in love with the way that it highlights the texture and imperfections in my collage work. I’m going to start working on a zine/book collection. Stay tuned.

Elias Rønnenfelt - Lucre The stone cold cool that oozes from this album should be studied by PhD toting geniuses. Elias released two phenomenal albums this year: Lucre and Speak Daggers (along with a slew of off album singles). Lucre was produced alongside the eternally impressive Dean Blunt. The album is only 16 minutes long, go listen now. You won’t be disappointed. If I had to choose a favorite artist of 2025, Elias would be it.

Andy Bell - Pinball Wanderer Famous for his time in the seminal shoegaze band Ride, Andy’s been on a hot streak with solo albums. This is his third and it’s even more expansive than his previous two. Each song acts as its own sonic journey in a way that is free of restraint. #andybellride #pinballwanderer

Smerz - Big City There is a tension that boils below the surface on Big City. Smerz plays in the chasm between beautiful pop music and experimental avant garde with ease. The accompanying album of remixes is also a great listen and highly recommended.

Sports Coach - On the Mountain Above the Cloud One of my first bands was a solo project called the X & O Factor. It was filled with Casio keyboard drums, synth chords, and paper thin guitars. In my mind it sounded like Sports Coach, but reality bites sometimes. This album kicks ass. RIYL: Deastro, Small Black, Joy Division if Ian Curtis stuck around and they slowly added more keyboards #sportscoach #bestalbum #2025music #albumart #collage #cutandpastecollage

Go Kurosawa- Soft Shakes Co-founder of the insanely great Kikagaku Moyo (RIP) releases his first solo album. It sounds like a 70s documentary in the best way possible filled with so many different approaches to music, but through the filter of one unifying vision (I’m sensing a theme to my favorite albums of 2025). I hope there are LA dates in 2026. #kikagakumoyo #gokurosawa #bestalbum #2025music #albumart #collage #cutandpastecollage

ear - The Most Dear & The Future I fell hard for this nugget of off-kilter pop. It simultaneously feels like it’s made with broken equipment and by neuroscientists, but I know both guesses are incorrect. In a time when it’s so easy to make pristine recordings, an album like this shows what a unique POV could sound/should like; human and beautifully imperfect. More please. #earband #bestalbum #2025music #albumart #collage #cutandpastecollage

John Glacier - Like a Ribbon “Steady as I am, never change. Couldn’t phase me, sticking to the plan, not the game.” This lyric off of “Steady as I Am” acts as a manifesto for the entire album. Glacier is a fucking force and her delivery glues together the numerous producers across Like a Ribbon. This was one of the first albums this year that really grabbed my attention. #johnglacier #johnglacierlikearibbon #likearibbon #bestalbum #2025music #albumart #collage #cutandpastecollage

Winter - Adult Romantix This is the album that instantly popped into my head this year when someone asked me what new music I’ve been getting into. It scratches so many itches: it’s dreamy with wildly catchy guitars and vocals that beg you to lean in sing along. #daydreamingwinter #adultromantix #bestalbum #2025music #albumart #collage #cutandpastecollage

Destroyer - Dan’s Boogie The past couple of Destroyer albums have been so great. Big, lush, and obsessed with the unraveling of life. This one feels like he’s channeling early Bowie in its breadth and decadence. #destroyer #danbejar #bestalbum #2025music #albumart #collage #cutandpastecollage
