Working at home, while sipping my homemade cappuccino with the Fosen-trial running in the background. Que a congratulation-sms from a friend.
Que me: hitting the search-bar for my own name at Kulturrådets grant section, and to my delight I found it:
A big, big thank you to the commitees for choosing me and the projects I’m working on for this 1-year working grant. I have myself been at different commitees at Kulturrådet and I know how hard the competition is, and how indepth the discussions of who should get the grants are.
So I’m truly grateful and beyond happy, giitu🙏🏼
Congratulation with a beautiful opening yesterday @ravenchcn@katyagarciaanton@nordnorskkunstmuseum
The music, soundscapes, sculpture, video installations… 3 hours yesterday was not enough time to take it all in…!
Thank you for the powerful collaboration.
Less then a year ago we were at Lásságammi working together as a group in an act of artistic land protection on the land of our reindeer district Bássevuovdi
Now artist and musician Raven Chacon from Navajo Nation has made music, exhibition and career spanning catalogue
