fall is my favorite season so i’m very content lately. haven’t been on the internet much because i got @getbrick and think it’s been saving my mental health. repatching my modular and studio a lot. djing even more than usual. last but not least, go pack go
My EP “When the Light Hits You” is out now! A big part of this project for me was not fixating too much on imperfections. It’s often hard to remain proud of a body of work, so I’m trying to create more and move forward, but enjoy things along the way. Life moves pretty fast, and that dumb Ferris Bueller quote was indeed kind of meaningful.
Saw Japanese Breakfast play the other day (so fantastic), listening to lots of Sam Gellaitry and The Marías, and overall more inspired than I’ve been in a while. This feeling comes and goes of course, but to be honest, thinking less and just putting on a good record when I feel stuck has been such a remedy. So, it might be time to go back into album mode soon. I’ve been DJing again after all these years, collaborating more, and I feel like I know myself a bit better. Trying to be a better keyboardist this year and maybe learn some guitar finally. Singing and writing more too.
