It’s one thing to know your worth. It’s another to live it. This year taught me the difference.
Knowing your worth is about what you have to offer. Living it is showing up when you have nothing left to give.
I’m worthy when love leaves.
I’m worthy when the clients slow down.
I’m worthy when I doubt myself.
I’m worthy when no one is watching.
I learned to keep showing up with nothing and to leave before it costs me everything.
I trust myself more than ever because I’ve seen what I do when there’s nothing left.

10 years ago, 56 people. Today, over 200 and counting.
What started out as a small awards ceremony is now one of the biggest nights for Atlanta’s architecture community.
How did an event grow by almost 4x? Branding. Not just what you see, but what you feel.
From pricing tickets to curating the food and decor, and creating messaging that makes people want to be in the room, every detail tells a story.
I just make sure they all speak the same language.
Brought 200 architects and friends together for the Atlanta premiere of America ByDesign, a CBS series highlighting great design across the country.
Grateful for a full house, great people, and a night to remember.
📸 Thank you to @shotsbynik for coming through at the last minute!
21-year-old me walked into @aiaatlanta as brand director in 2015.
Day one, all I got was a list of passwords. I took it and ran.
In 10 years, I’ve helped double partnership revenue, released seven publications, launched countless campaigns, and sold 20,000 event tickets — all while running my creative consultancy.
Whether the room is corporate or creative, I speak both fluently. That’s how my work stretches from DeKalb Public Health to Live Nation.
I’m proof you don’t have to “niche down” for aligned opportunities — but you do have to step your messaging up.
Where will you be in 10 years, or even in 10 months? That’s between you and your ticket to Lateral.
July 26. ATL.
I’ve spent years making others look and sound good—from backstage at shows to policy talks at the Capitol—sometimes forgetting to amplify my own voice.
As a creative who’s great at a lot of things, I know the struggle of not knowing what to say, how to show up, or how to fully step into your gifts.
In a world working overtime to silence Black voices, playing small is not an option.
I’m excited to launch malachig.com—a space where I step from behind the scenes into exactly what’s mine, and help you do the same.
The real question is what can’t I do?
What started as a small dinner has grown into a 200-person celebration at Buckhead Theatre, one of Atlanta’s most iconic venues.
As a brand and creative strategist, the transformation wasn’t just about scaling up—it was about creating an experience that leaves a lasting impression and makes every guest feel like a VIP.
From its concept and branding to the marketing strategy, I made sure every detail reflected the spirit of creativity, collaboration, and inspiration that defines AIA Atlanta.
Swipe to watch me work.
Lateral exists because community is our lifeline in a world that shows us all we have is each other.
I didn’t anticipate the women dominating Lateral this time, but I loved the way y’all showed up for yourselves and each other.
The tears, laughs, breakthroughs, and connections were truly divine at such a time as this.
Thank you for trusting me, and I’ll see you soon!
