In een zaal waar binnen en buiten even geen grenzen kenden, leidde Jennifer Muntslag (@itsjnm ) een geweldige open mic met als thema ‘Schrijven om te (over)leven’. Jennifer Munstlag is a presenter who blows through the room like a breath of fresh air, full of enthusiasm and humor. Jennifer, also known as JNM the Naked MC, is a born performer who has realized from a young age that she feels at home in the spotlight. Her moderation jobs range from a weekly late night talk show at Pakhuis de Zwijger, annual host during Oerol, Kunstbende, Amsterdam Roots Festival, vlogging for Shot of Culture, conferences and Spoken Word events to club nights at the Paradiso, Melkweg and many clubs/festivals at home and abroad.

Op de line-up staan o.a. Mohamedou Ould Slahi, Akwasi en Lotte Velvet. En tussen 𝟮𝟬:𝟭𝟬 en 𝟮𝟬:𝟱𝟬 krijg 𝗝𝗜𝗝 de kans om het podium te betreden! De open mic wordt gehost door Jennifer Muntslag (@itsjnm ) en draait om het thema ‘𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗷𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗲 (𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿)𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻’.

Deze hele zaal in de tentoonstelling ‘Mounira Al Solh: A land as big as her skin’ in Bonnefanten is één groot eerbetoon: aan de verdwijnende natuur van Libanon én aan vrouwen die levens redden.
Jennifer van @shotofculturenl laat de geborduurde bedoeïenentent zien die Al Solh maakte in samenwerking met vrouwen die hun thuisland moesten ontvluchten. Ook te zien zijn fragmenten uit verschillende mythologische verhalen, maar ook planten en dieren die Al Solh zich herinnert uit haar jeugd in Beiroet.
