Human Host's 'Alien Christmas' is out now on Youtube and Soundcloud streaming FREE for a ltd. time. But is this HH's first holiday single?
Is this song The Reason For The Season? Or a new twist in an ever growing element that accidentally harmonizes with the solstice??
Only *you* can decide - both links for 'Alien Christmas' are in our bio
~
The version of 'Alien Christmas' now streaming is a unique/unmastered version of a track that will be featured on the HH l.p. For An Unknown Sign, which comes out in February 2026 on Entropic Records
NEW HH t-shirt designs are available: (1st row l-r) magenta ink on light pink, hot pink ink on safety orange, and (just out of frame) orange on salmon - we have all adult sizes from small thru XXL, $20 each
Plus we just got a new run done with some old designs: (top row, l-r)
teal ink on fluorescent green, purple ink on light blue, black ink on kelly green
And (not pictured) we have a tiny handful of youth medium (aka extra small) and small size pink shirts with powder blue ink
Soon there'll be a clearer shot of the orange/salmon shirt, and humanhost.tumblr.com features a photo of the powder blue/pink tee
Even tho they were printed in October, a mega-active fall made it tuff to get shots of the new shirt designs up here or even announce we had them until now, so thank you @blackcollar_screenprinting for taking the photo (and for making such awesome looking stuff), and thanks to all our supporters who bought some of the tees already
A clutch of new Human Host winter shows will be announced soon, and our new album (For An Unknown Sign) is nearly finished with a release date currently slated for February 2026. So overall it's an especially great time for celebrating the HH cause

in about a month from now the host plays another rad NEPA fest, this time at one of the region's best DIY venues with lotsa friends and supporters
so if you live in S/WB/Mountain Top/Hazleton/back Mountain area/Poconos/The Endless Mountains, etc. please try not to miss this crucial summit
we got the first ever review for our new album and it's stellar and it's also the first time anyone has called an HH recording a masterpiece (!!!)
And to top it all off, this micro review came from none other than one of today's best, most innovative influential artists (and someone who also - as proven by slide 3 - is a crucial fashion icon), Angel Marcloid @angelhair0 of @fire_toolz , one of the newest acts to sign with the legendary Warp Records (slide 2 shows the cover art for Fire-Toolz new release on Warp). @warprecords is the label that gave the world early introductions to everyone from Aphex Twin to Flying Lotus to Broadcast to Boards Of Canada
Yeah, yeh, Angel also mastered our record and we've been supporting each other's work for ages (like HH, Angel's formative years were spent in Md.), but as a mastering engineer she's hearing crazy strange new records all day long at her job. So the fact that she could even notice that ours was decent would've been impressive enough, but we're beyond honored to know she's called it a masterpiece
No offense to any other reviewers who might love our new l.p. (which is titled For an Unknown Sign), but this is more than a compliment. It feels like an amazingly supernaturally good omen
So thank you Angel for all you do!

the next HH show is at @pajamafactory in Williamsport, Pa. at this mega-bonkers awesome fest benefitting the independent/non-commercial fm radio station WXPI @wxpiradio
It's rare to find public information and communication minus the soul crushing filters of homogeny, conformity, and big business. But just because the stuff is hard to come by doesn't mean such non-corporate-approved over-the-air content should be impossible find
so HH is very honored and happy to support WXPI's special physically remote yet globally radical effort to liberate the airwaves from the carefully/boringly branded content that passes for "pro-level" radio via the ever growing for-profit sonic prisons of the entertainment industrial complex...
And this is all just a dystopian/post apocalyptic way of saying, long live grass roots-local media (!)
