In meiner Jugend hatte neben ghanaischer Musik vor allem Hip-Hop den größten Einfluss auf mich.
Als @haftbefehl mir sagte, dass wir auf dem Openair Frauenfeld nach A$AP Rocky auf der Mainstage spielen
und ich vorher mein eigenes Intro-Set spielen kann,
war ich natürlich hyped.
Aber erst, als ich auf der Bühne stand und die Menschenmenge sah,
habe ich wirklich verstanden, wo ich gerade bin.
Whoa 50.000 Menschen!
Ich erinnere mich noch genau,
als ich mein Intro startete und mir dachte:
'Stell dir vor, du verspielst dich jetzt.'
Dieser Gedanke brachte mich zum Lächeln innerlich,
weil ich mir dachte: Sch***egal. Schau mal, wie weit du gekommen bist, als Kind der Kiefernstraße.
Der Abend wurde so legendär, dass ich ihn nie vergessen werde.
Egal, in wie viele Richtungen ich musikalisch gehe,
Hip-Hop wird für immer ein Teil von mir bleiben.

@itsfrizzo and I have known each other for over 15 years. Back then, fully coming from the hip-hop world.
We played parties together and kept running into each other over the years somewhere in Germany, backstage, in clubs or after long nights, just talking about music. With Frizzo, it was never just surface-level talk. It was always about culture, artists, producers, growth and how to find your own sound without losing yourself in the process.
Now years later, we’re sitting in the Hyatt in Düsseldorf listening to house music for our first b2b show together at Hafen49 in Mannheim.
Crazy how paths evolve. But even crazier when the mutual respect stays the same through all those years.
We just checked sounds, tested tracks and talked about music. No big setup. No extra noise.
