My first Mother’s Day🌹
It still feels surreal typing that.
Jake gave me roses, a book 📖 why a son needs his mama, and a card I’ll keep forever.
This season … becoming a mama for the first time, being seen by my sweet husband, being held by a God who knew this moment before I did, is one I prayed for in secret for so long.
To every kind of mother today…
the one carrying life,
the one praying for it,
the one who chose her babies,
the one who mothers the people God places in her path without ever having a child of her own…
you are seen.
You are appreciated.
