Story time;
A little over 5 years ago, we took the trip of a lifetime. With 60 of our best friends, we took on
@theyachtweek Greece- sailing, adventuring, and partying across the Adriatic Sea for 7 days; making the most epic stops along the way.
One of those stops was a deserted island, by the name of Dokos. With nothing on land but goats, we decided to throw that nights party right in the cove, on board the biggest yacht we had (shouts out to Yacht Alpha).
We tied all 25 boats in two rows, and started going deck to deck, spreading the word. We recruited speakers, brought out our little baby mixer, and started letting the music flow.
As the sun went down, people started gathering - by dark, we had 150 of us packed on to this yacht, dancing and singing our hearts out across the open water until sunrise. It was one of those moments you never forget.
Right there, we knew we had tapped into something special - and knew we had to go for it.
That’s where “dokos” was born.
So, when Yacht Week approached us to headline their on-shore party here in San Diego, we were immediately on board (pun intended). A real full circle moment, and a great opportunity for us to give back to a group that is a huge part of our journey.
