Backstory:
After months of searching for the perfect spot, nothing felt right—until I saw photos of our Airbnb’s rooftop overlooking all of Bogotá. I instantly knew that was the place. I secretly reached out to our Airbnb host, who was beyond accommodating.
With help from my friend
@djbernal_ , I found an amazing event planner and photographer.
@duvan_arguello brought my vision to life—I even sent him a sketch, and he went above and beyond. He also helped me get a custom neon sign that said “What’s it called? Will you marry me?” because if you know Eli, you know he starts nearly every sentence that way. 😄
GIRL, this surprise was NOT easy! I had to convince Eli we were going to a fancy dinner so we’d be dressed up for “photos on the rooftop.” And I’m still gagged it worked! 🤣
