These past couple of weeks there has been a major effort to bring awareness to this project. Within no time, Beth Accomando from KPBS and the Cinema Junkie podcast reached back out to cover the story behind our film, our inspirations, and Kickstarter campaign!! Meet the team!! Our writer and one our lead actors, Daniel Figueroa
Daniel is a Puerto Rican actor who grew up in Northern Virginia. He has always had a strong enthusiasm for everything related to filmmaking and moved to San Diego, CA in 2021 where he began his acting journey. Since then, he has committed himself to learning the art, gaining experience working on commericals (UPS, NFL Shop) and multiple short films. Outside of acting, Daniel expresses his passion for film by traveling to domestic and international film festivals, frequently attending film Q&A’s, and going to the theater a few times a week! In 2025, he starred in the lead role in the short film, Décima, a Puerto Rico based story. His proud cultural background and experience from that production sparked his interest in writing, giving us this edge of your seat thriller focused on family, love, and consequences.
