It’s a crazy weekend in Las Vegas for EDC and a world record motorcycle jump will be happening too! 🏍️ 12-time X Games medalist Colby Raha will attempt a world-record motorcycle jump over the Caesars Palace Front Fountains. The stunt will take place at the same site where Evel Knievel crashed during his 1967 fountain jump attempt.
Raha’s goal is a vertical jump height exceeding 100 feet to break his own previous record of 90 feet.
Unlike Evel’s jumps across the water, this attempt will be vertical over the fountain.The event serves as the finale for the grand opening weekend of the new OMNIA Dayclub & Skybar and is in celebration for the 60th anniversary year of Caesars Palace.

NEW MOB MUSEUM EXPANSION UPDATE! 🎩
It’s been talked about for a few years, but now The Mob Museum expansion is shifting to the east!
Newly released renderings from LGA Architecture show the plans flipped to the east side to save millions in utility costs.
The project features a 30,000 sq foot wedge-shaped parcel that will house a new multi-level theater, a massive guest lobby, elevated galleries, private event spaces, and a new entrance to the underground speakeasy.
With over 400,000 annual visitors, the extra room is much needed. No official groundbreaking date has been set yet.

The End of An Era.
Primm will officially shut down all operations on July 4th. Employees have been notified of layoffs, and residents have been ordered to vacate by July 6th.The shutdown includes The Primm Valley Resort, Buffalo Bill’s, and the permanent closure of Whiskey Pete’s, the gas stations, the Flying J truck stop, the Lotto Store, and the Desert Oasis Apartments.
Born in the 1950s, Primm was not only a State-Line stop, but essentially a “Mini Vegas.” It made its name on cheaper rooms and a family-friendly environment, remaining family-owned until 1999. Some of the peak achievements for Primm include the iconic Desperado Rollercoaster, which was the tallest and fastest in the world at its time, and the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas, which at their prime, were a Top 10 most profitable outlet in the US.
The shell remains, over 2,500 hotel rooms over 3 empty casino resorts, a rollercoaster, and a 371,000-square-foot mall of murals.
The bones are strong. Only God knows what’s next.

SKYVUE SITE SOLD FOR $70 MILLION!
The old SkyVue site across from Mandalay Bay has been sold for $70 Million to local developer Eli Applebaum with plans for a heart shaped hotel.
Plans include:
- A 874-room hotel-casino resort
- A heart-shaped tower wrapped in a giant LED screen
- A Fremont Street inspired covered pedestrian plaza
The infamous concrete pillars will be repurposed to support a 265-foot sky restaurant.

Downtown North Las Vegas is becoming a thing!
Fun Fact: North Las Vegas is currently one of the largest cities in the USA without a traditional downtown core.
The NLV Gateway project is changing that.
Located on 19 acres at Lake Mead Blvd and Las Vegas Blvd (across from Jerry’s Nugget), it will serve as the city’s new central hub and a satellite campus for Nevada State University that just broke ground.
This $200 million public-private partnership includes:
-42,000 sq. ft. of medical space (already completed)
-200,000 sq. ft. of retail/commercial space
-Nevada State University campus building
-A central community plaza
-450+ residential apartments
