The Japanese bullet train, aka the Shinkansen, is not just a train, it’s a certified speed demon on rails. This thing doesn’t “leave the station,” it teleports. One second you’re in Tokyo holding a convenience store egg sandwich, the next second you’re in Osaka questioning reality. Blink and you missed three prefectures. Bro said “fast” and Japan said bet.
This train pulls up cleaner than your phone screen after you wipe it on your shirt. No graffiti. No crumbs. Seats aligned like a military formation. If you drop a coin on the floor, it apologizes to you. Conductors bow like NPCs in a cutscene. Doors close with the calm confidence of someone who has never been late in their life.
The Shinkansen goes 200+ mph and somehow feels smoother than your Wi-Fi scrolling TikTok at 3am. No shaking. No drama. Just whoooosh. Outside the window? Anime scenery. Rice fields, mountains, cities passing by like someone sped up Google Earth. You’re not traveling, you’re fast-forwarding life.
Meanwhile, the train is so punctual that if it’s 30 seconds late, there’s an apology letter. Thirty. Seconds. In other countries that’s “on time.” In Japan that’s a national incident. Somewhere a manager is sweating.
And the best part? You’re eating bento boxes while moving at the speed of a low-flying aircraft. Shrimp tempura + Mach 0.3. The ultimate combo.
The Japanese bullet train isn’t transportation. It’s a flex. A stainless-steel reminder that efficiency can, in fact, go hard. 🚄💨
Hoooooooly fck that actually might’ve been my favorite set I’ve played to date! The energy in that room on Saturday was absolutely insane, even I was in disbelief.
