2025.
What a year it’s been already. I’ve been happy. Joy filled. Sad. Angry. Lost. Found. More lost. Broken. Confused and so much more in these past 6 months.
I’ve been stretched beyond comfort. I’ve been( and still am being) pruned beyond belief. I’ve wanted to give up. I’ve wanted to stop pushing and pressing. I’ve questioned my purpose and my calling. I’ve questioned my capacity.
Yet, through it all… I have been KEPT.
I don’t know what the second half of 2025 holds for me, but I do know that I choose to believe that GOD IS GOOD.
And because HE IS GOOD, so are HIS PLANS FOR ME.
May my posture forever be one that looks to Jesus. May my prayer always be to be more like HIM. May my desire always be HIM.
I believe. I am expectant. I am ready.

3 disciplines God’s been teaching me lately:
1. Patience — I’m learning to trust His timing and pace, even when it doesn’t match mine. A slower route doesn’t mean denial, it means direction and protection. In Exodus 13, God didn’t lead Israel the shorter way because He knew they weren’t ready for war and might turn back to Egypt. So He led them through the wilderness instead. What looked like delay was actually divine protection, removing every “back door” to bondage so they could keep moving forward. The long road isn’t wasted; it’s intentional.
Obedience — I’m learning to choose God’s voice over my feelings, preferences, and timing. Even when it doesn’t make sense in the moment, I’m realizing His instructions are never random, but they’re always leading me somewhere I can’t yet see. Like Abraham in Genesis 22, who obeyed when God asked him to offer Isaac, I’m learning that obedience often requires surrendering what’s most precious and trusting that God still provides. Abraham didn’t have the full picture, but he had full trust and I’m learning to live there too.
Consistency— I’m learning to show up faithfully, even when I don’t feel it. Not just in the moments where it’s easy or seen, but in the quiet, ordinary days where no one is watching. I’m realizing that growth in God isn’t built on occasional intensity, but steady obedience over time.
Like Noah in Genesis 6–7, who built the ark day after day before there was any rain, I’m learning that consistency often looks like obedience without immediate results. He kept building when nothing around him confirmed what God said, yet every faithful step prepared him for what was coming. Consistency is teaching me to trust the process, keep building, and believe that what God said will come to pass in His timing.

Waiting seasons can feel uncomfortable, but they are rarely empty.
God ordains waiting seasons for various reasons— refining, stretching, and preparing you for the prayers you’ve been praying! What He is building in you will sustain what He’s about to give to you.
Delayed does not mean denied. “Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:3
Sometimes we don’t ask God for the small things because we feel like He hasn’t answered the big ones. But this reminded me that God sees us, He hears us, and He cares about the little things. I pray this serves as a reminder for you too! 🙏🏽💜🥹
