Bgd update: the daily - this one’s the jack of all trades, can be used as a medium day back for working that big boy job, handling laptop, lunch and anything for a day at the office, big shops on the way home from work so built in expanded storage for picking up that last minute tea shop.

These were the first proper attempt at making bags, with pockets and linings this was a significant milestone and they have recentlyish celebrated their first birthday and they are still going strong, even with questionable stitching and pattern alignments these are used on a close to daily basis for shop runs, town bags or just going to the park Cotton outer with a rip stop inner First bags made out of rolls of fabric and not cut up old coats, even tried a bit of embroidery, 7 marked 7 years of mine and my partners relationship and we worked together on these bags cutting templates, sewing straps and picking fabric/colours. #myog #handmade #madeinuk #diytote

My day bag This little guy has two modes, sports mode and eco Using little pop buttons this musette rolls up into a chest/shoulder bag with a removable 3 point strap for when you’re getting from A to B fast or you just wanna stroll to the park with some tins. First public post in about 9 years, hello world. Thought I’d make this a bit of an intro to me, Kelvin. I started making bags June ‘23 and have made all sorts so far, starting with simple satchels, rugged totes, then onto backpacks and smaller accessories. I’m interested in making bags that people want to use, mainly me, but friends and family too and it’s always been a nice hobby to get away from screens and use my hands and build something from a few sheets of material and some thread. But anyway, here’s the latest bag Double stitched front panel for strength, super tough netting for outer pockets, all replaceable cords and you never know when you might need a couple ft of line in an emergency. Detachable chest bag (day strap to come shortly), removable foam back panel for sitting/cooking on, removable hip belt for lighter loads. Lightweight, water resistant, comfy.
