Last night @adrienbrody gave the cast of @fearof13broadway a great dinner with great food and greater company. We even “broke a leg.” What this man does nightly is nothing short of some sort of magic. The mental acuity and focus it takes on top of the emotional depth needed to tell @nickyarris ‘s story is nothing short of theatrical greatness. Right there meeting him hand in hand is @tessamaethompson who is some sort of acting genie. Together they are a combustible duo of dynamic story telling. 4/20/2010. 16 years ago I made my Broadway Debut in one of my favorite shows of all time. We opened American Idiot and my world exploded and dreams were made. Having @katnejatbeauty@becca and @dante_russo by my side made it all the better. 16 years later and I just opened another Broadway show, while also being a therapist, a spin instructor, and my favorite two roles…husband and dad. As audiences hear @fearof13broadway “Time can be a blisteringly fast thing…”

Yesterday, I started rehearsals for a new Broadway play entitled “The Fear of 13”,
My daughter was born on the 13th of a month,
And today I celebrate 13 years sober.
The fear of 13? More like the CHEER of 13!
One day at a time for 4,749 days.

Were the last 13 years agony? Sometimes.
Did it go by in the blink of an eye? Absolutely. But with sobriety came a gratitude that opened my eyes to the possibilities of life.
