Dancing around a shooting star.
What a night! @freeze_the_fall_band and @coldfvme are co-headlining their western Canada tour, with the second stop over at @thecureregina . That venue was amazing! They were such gracious hosts, super kind and very accommodating. Probably the best experience Iāve witnessed so far, from sound check to the show and beyond. Calgary tonight!
When the last tree has fallen.
I gotta say, Iām pretty damn stoked on the shots I got of @freeze_the_fall_band ās set at @thecureregina Wednesday night. They killed it! Canāt wait to get more shots of these wonderful humans š
When the rivers are poisoned.
Damn, the talent in @freeze_the_fall_band is absolutely unreal! Theyāre co-headlining the western Canada tour with @coldfvme and let me tell you, itās been an absolute blast so far. Crazy weather, fun sets and awesome crowds! Calgary tonight!
Just a little overstimulated.
One thing Iāve been focusing on during my live music shoots is finding good lighting. Moving around the venue, trying different angles, and finding dynamic lighting helps so much more than just staying in the pit waiting for something to happen. Even though @coldfvme always rocks out as hard as they can, Iām still all over the place getting a variety of shots no matter what!
Little bit of fun.
No matter the venue and no matter what happens, musicians should always bring their best to the stage. @coldfvme did exactly that last night at @greenroomyxe . They got the crowd moving and had a little bit of fun during their set too š
Green Room.
Last nightās set was so fun! I havenāt seen a crowd that stoked in a smaller venue before. Just goes to show how well @coldfvme played at the @greenroomyxe during the first show of the tour!
The dream life.
How can you look at this seal and not envy its current lifestyle? Lounging around in the water without a care in the world. *Sigh* one can dream.
Thatās a fowl.
Along with otters, thereās no shortage of water fowl up in the sound. I particularly liked this shot because of the contrast between the Red-necked Grebe and the water!
No otter way.
There have been countless sea and river otters floating around the cabin lately! Iāve never seen such a boom in their numbers before, itās been an absolute delightš
