Premiering at the Manchester Film Festival on Friday, 'VISCERAL IMAGES' is a tense, single-night psychological thriller in which a quiet home invasion spirals into something far more dangerous. Freya (Imogen King), a conflict-averse young woman already strained by family and relationship pressures, reluctantly lets her best friend bring a group of strangers into her home — but what begins as an awkward gathering soon turns volatile, intimate, and deeply unsettling.
When her vulnerable younger sister goes missing, paranoia sets in, and the strangers reveal themselves as part of a secretive radical-activist collective with unclear intentions and an uncontrollable presence. As reality fractures and tensions rise, Freya is forced to confront the people in her home.
